There are now many different types of furniture available from hand crafted bookcases to elegant glass media storage units, however one of the most important and used pieces of furniture is a dining room table and set of chairs.

A small range of tables are constructed using glass and steel however by far the most popular material is wood with both oak and pine being incredibly popular however the most cost-effective material is pine. Pine is a strong solid wood which is very popular amongst designers because it it easy to work with whilst featuring a unique texture and appearance which stems from its grain.

Many styles and designs featuring pine are based on upon traditional county features with rustic detailing such as carved leaves and floral stamps. Finished using a deep layer of natural wax which protects the wood from scratches, marks and exposure to moisture and spillages.
